1. What WrenchLog is

WrenchLog is a bike maintenance tracking service. It lets you track component wear, log services, and (on the Pro plan) automatically sync ride data from Strava so your mileage stays up to date. WrenchLog is operated by a UK-based company.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use WrenchLog.
  • You need a Strava account to sign in, as we use Strava for authentication.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Each account is for one person only — please do not share your login or let others access your account.

4. Plans and pricing

WrenchLog offers two plans:

  • Free — 1 bike, manual ride tracking, component tracking, and service history.
  • Pro — Unlimited bikes, Strava auto-sync, smart wear alerts, email notifications, and weekly digest. Currently priced at £2.99/month or £27.99/year.

Prices may change. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.

5. Payment

Pro subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Settings page.

6. Cancellation and refunds

  • 14-day cooling-off period: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a new subscriber, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.
  • After 14 days: You can cancel at any time, but we do not offer pro-rata refunds for the remaining period. Your Pro access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

7. Free tier limitations

The Free plan is limited to 1 bike and does not include Strava sync, wear alerts, or email notifications. If you want these features, you can upgrade to Pro at any time.

8. Acceptable use

Please use WrenchLog responsibly. You agree not to:

  • Abuse, overload, or interfere with our API or infrastructure.
  • Scrape or automatically extract data from the service.
  • Violate Strava's terms of service or API agreement.
  • Use WrenchLog for any illegal purpose.

9. Intellectual property

WrenchLog owns the service, code, design, and branding. You own the data you create within the service (your bikes, components, service records, and any information you enter). We do not claim ownership of your data.

10. Third-party services

WrenchLog integrates with:

  • Strava — For authentication and activity syncing. Your use of Strava is subject to Strava's Terms of Service.
  • Stripe — For payment processing. Stripe handles your payment details under their own terms and privacy policy.

We are not responsible for outages or issues with third-party services.

11. Data and privacy

How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

12. Service availability

We aim to keep WrenchLog available and reliable, but we do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage or offer an SLA. There may be occasional downtime for maintenance or updates. We will try to give notice where possible.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WrenchLog's total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

14. Termination

Either you or WrenchLog can end this agreement at any time. You can delete your account from your Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. After account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you continue to use WrenchLog after the changes take effect, you are agreeing to the updated terms.
