Getting Started

WrenchLog is a bike maintenance tracker that helps you monitor component wear, log services, and get smart replacement alerts. It syncs with Strava to keep your mileage up to date automatically.

Tap "Get Started" on the homepage and sign in with your Strava account. That's it — no separate registration needed. You'll be up and running in seconds.

Yes — WrenchLog uses Strava for authentication, so a Strava account is required to sign in. Once connected, your bikes are imported automatically.

Strava Integration

We access your public profile (name and avatar), your bikes and gear, and your ride activities (distance, duration, date, and gear used). We never access your private notes, photos, or social data.

On the Pro plan, WrenchLog listens for new Strava activities via webhooks. When you finish a ride, the distance is automatically added to the relevant bike and its components — no manual entry needed.

You need Strava to sign in, but you don't need to sync rides. On the Free plan you can add mileage manually and still track component wear and service history.

Component Tracking

Each component has a lifespan (e.g. a chain lasts ~5,000 km). As you ride, mileage accumulates on each component and WrenchLog shows a wear percentage. When a component nears its limit, you'll see a visual warning — and on Pro, you'll get email and push alerts.

You can track chains, cassettes, brake pads, tyres, bar tape, cables, bottom brackets, headset bearings, and more. Each component type has a sensible default lifespan that you can customise.

WrenchLog uses three levels: at 60% wear you'll see a warning, at 80% it's flagged as critical, and at 100% it's marked as overdue. Pro users receive email and push notifications at these thresholds.

Pro unlocks unlimited bikes, automatic Strava ride syncing, smart wear alerts (email and push), a weekly maintenance digest email, and priority support.
